Cortex USA makes hair tools and hair care. Our brand, Cortex Beauty, sells across multiple retailers and eCommerce sites nationwide and in Canada.

We are currently in the middle of a major brand refresh, and we need another designer to help us build it out. This is a hands-on production role.
You will create the content and creative assets our customers see every week.

What you will do
- Design Instagram posts, carousels, and story highlights, planned as a full grid instead of one post at a time
- Build email designs and campaign graphics in Klaviyo
- Create site creative for our Shopify store: banners, landing pages, and product imagery
- Join our weekly creative meeting and bring ideas, not just files
What you bring
- Highly proficient in graphic design. Strong type, layout, color, and retouching, and a portfolio that proves it.
- Hands-on with AI creative tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, Firefly, Photoshop generative fill, Higgsfield, Runway, or similar). This is a requirement, not a bonus.
- 2 to 4 years designing for a brand, an agency, or an eCommerce team
- Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma. InDesign helps.
- Social and ecommerce work in your portfolio
- Willingness to take direction, and to push back when you have a better idea
Nice to have, but not required
- Basic motion design (After Effects, Premiere, or CapCut)
- Klaviyo, Shopify, or Amazon A+ content experience
- Beauty, wellness, or fashion brand experience
Details
- Pay: $25 to $30 an hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Location: our Miami Lakes, FL office. This role is an in-office position, 5 days a week.
