Qualifications:
- ASE Certification
- Minimum of 3 years in the automotive industry
- Strong team player and dedicated hard worker
- Possession of personal tools
- Customer-friendly demeanor with the ability to interact personally and professionally
- Proficient in writing detailed service tickets
- Hold a high school diploma (preferred), with certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components for accurate diagnosis.
- Examine vehicle computer and electronic systems to perform repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fluid replacements and lubrication for optimal vehicle function.
- Address issues like leaks, tune-ups, and brakes by repairing or replacing broken/dysfunctional parts.
- Collaborate with service advisor to provide precise estimates (cost, time, effort) for repair or maintenance jobs.
- Log work times electronically; no manual flag hours logging is necessary.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and tools in good condition.
Skills:
- Demonstrate proven experience as an auto mechanic.
- Possess excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components.
- Utilize a working understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Display proficiency in using various tools efficiently and completing tasks within specified timelines.
- Exhibit a willingness to strictly adhere to safety precautions against accidents, dangerous fluids, and chemicals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
