Summary: The Clinic Manager provides leadership and oversight for nursing and clinical support staff in the Medallus Medical ND locations. This role is responsible for maintaining clinical quality, staff competency, workflow consistency, training, and adherence to nursing standards of practice in North Dakota. The Clinic Manager partners with operations and executive leadership to support safe patient care, regulatory readiness, documentation quality, and staff development. This reflects the older combined Practice Manager/Nursing Supervisor model and the current nursing-support job description, which emphasizes scope-of-practice compliance, patient intake, treatments, training, supplies, records, and policy adherence .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and support nursing and clinical support staff across Medallus Medical ND locations.
- Ensure nursing care and clinical tasks are performed within North Dakota scope-of-practice requirements.
- Oversee staff competency, training completion, onboarding, and clinical skill development.
- Monitor clinical documentation quality, chart accuracy, and adherence to care protocols.
- Support implementation and monitoring of policies related to OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, infection prevention, medication handling, and clinical safety.
- Partner with operations leadership to maintain adequate staffing, workflow efficiency, and clinical coverage.
- Conduct or support chart audits, clinical quality checks, and corrective education as needed.
- Assist with management of supplies, treatment room readiness, vaccine and medication handling, and equipment standards.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance oversight for nursing staff.
- Address patient care concerns, escalated clinical issues, and staff practice questions.
- Collaborate with providers and executive leadership on quality improvement initiatives and clinical process updates.
- Help standardize workflows across locations for rooming, treatments, injections, specimen handling, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications:
- Current North Dakota RN license required.
- BSN preferred; leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in urgent care, primary care, occupational health, or multi-site outpatient practice preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing scope, clinical workflows, patient safety, and documentation standards.
- Comfortable using EMR systems and training staff on workflow expectations.
Education and Experience: Certificate from college or technical school and one month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses: Maintains a current RN license and maintain a current BLS Certification.
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents, writes routine reports and correspondence, and speaks effectively before patients or associates of organization.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, internet software and electronic medical records.
