Dining Room Manager

Position Overview
Wilder at Windy Hill Farm and Preserve is looking for a Dining Room Manager who believes great service is warm, genuine, and attentive without being intrusive. This role is responsible for leading the front-of-house team, maintaining service standards, and ensuring every guest experience feels thoughtful, seamless, and personal.
Key Responsibilities
Service Leadership
- Lead nightly service and manage the dining room floor
- Set the tone for service — calm, confident, and guest-focused
- Ensure service standards and dining room details are executed
- Assist with hosting, running food, and supporting service as needed
Team Leadership and Training
- Train and coach front-of-house staff on service standards and hospitality
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and scheduling FOH staff
- Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing staff education
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Guest Experience
- Touch tables and build relationships with guests
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery when needed
- Work closely with the kitchen and events team to execute special events and large parties
Operational Responsibilities
- Assist with OpenTable management and reservations
- Oversee dining room setup, cleanliness, and organization
- Maintain service supplies, menus, and dining room details
- Support private events and on-property dining experiences
Qualifications
- 3+ years restaurant management or service leadership experience
- Strong service knowledge and dining room operations experience
- Natural leadership and team development skills
- Familiar with POS operation and setup
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Ability to work nights and weekends required

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
