Stonewall Dental Associates is seeking a highly motivated, X-ray certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic, multi-specialty team. We provide orthodontic, periodontic, pediatric, and general dentistry services, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience across specialties while supporting excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Chairside assistance in orthodontics (braces & Invisalign), periodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry.
- Take impressions, digital scans, and radiographs.
- Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment care, and post-op instructions.
- Maintain accurate records and support daily office flow.
- Ensure compliance with sterilization and OSHA protocols.
Qualifications:
- X-Ray certification in Virginia (required).
- 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Team-oriented and detail-focused.
- Experience with CareStack and/or Open dental software is a plus.
- Spanish Speakers are a plus.
