Wonderful opportunity at a Barberton family owned business of 75+ years! We have openings for this Barberton production facility for Material Handler. The company is looking for energetic, motivated candidates that are ready to dive in with their years of experience, great team work, and positive attitude to contribute to the continued success of the company. Bring your 'I CAN' attitude! Great atmosphere! Team work and a eagerness are needed for this position! 1st shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Monday through Friday, overtime required once trained. Pay rate is $19.00 - $23.00 an hour depending on experience. Will be determined once interview is completed with the company.
Requirements for the position:
* High School Diploma/GED
* Able to pass a hair follicle drug test
* Solid Work History
* Coordinate and prioritize the movement of materials to and from the production floor.
* Safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials and products.
* Work on a team of material handlers.
* Maintain inventory accurately by conducting regular counts and reconciliations.
* Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and compliance with the company standards.
*Collaborate with the production supervisors to anticipate material needs and non interrupted workflow.
* Train new material handlers on safety procedures and safe equipment operations.
* Troubleshoot issues with equipment anf perform routine maintenance tasks.
* Excellent communication skills required between team member and management to address all concerns.
* Good Background - Will be reviewed.
