Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems in various environments. This role requires a strong understanding of both technical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
- Perform software troubleshooting to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Execute low voltage cabling and wiring for audio-visual setups.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for installation and repairs.
- Provide field service support to clients, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.
- Collaborate with project managers to interpret schematics and implement design specifications accurately.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on AV equipment to ensure reliability.
- Assist in training staff on the use of audio-visual technology and equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in software troubleshooting techniques related to audio-visual systems.
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and cabling practices.
- Experience using hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
- Strong field service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with electrical principles (E & I) as they relate to AV technology.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective system installation.
- Solid mechanical knowledge related to audio-visual equipment functionality.
- Competence in computer hardware setup and troubleshooting.
