Position Summary:
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the Anchorage Recovery Center campus, building systems, and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently. This role oversees day-to-day facility maintenance, vendor coordination, and ongoing facility improvements. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing both hands-on repairs and oversight of contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance of building systems, facility environment, and grounds
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventative upkeep
- Respond to work orders and troubleshoot facility-related issues promptly
- Maintain maintenance logs, vendor records, equipment inventories, and supply organization
- Ensure facility cleanliness, and regulatory compliance, including OSHA and life safety standards
- Oversee contractors, work orders, service agreements, and vendor performance.
- Support renovation, improvement, and capital projects as needed.
- Participate in leadership communication to ensure smooth facility operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or related fields required
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general repair strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities.
- Strong communication and follow-through skills.
- Comfortable with hands-on maintenance work.
- Must be able to lift, move equipment, and walk the facility regularly.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Full-time on-site role at Anchorage Recovery Center
- May require occasional after-hours or weekend support to address urgent facility needs
