Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic, attentive, and guest-focused Expo/Servers to join our front-of-house team. This role is perfect for professionals who are passionate about creating memorable dining experiences and genuinely enjoy sharing exceptional food and wine with guests.
As a Server at Amara, you will be a key ambassador of our hospitality culture, guiding guests through our menu and wine selection with confidence, serving with grace under pressure, and ensuring every table receives thoughtful and personalized attention.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
- Present menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations (including wine pairings)
- Take accurate orders, deliver food and beverages promptly
- Maintain deep knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and wine list
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, elevated service
- Handle payments and close out checks efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized work and service areas
What We’re Looking For
- Prior serving experience in a high-energy restaurant or wine-centric venue preferred
- Knowledge of wine service and wine-by-the-glass programs (plus a desire to keep learning)
- Professional, friendly, and naturally hospitable demeanor
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work weekends/evenings and flexible shifts
- Team player attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
