This job description outlines the essential duties and responsibilities of the Operations Specialist in the Manufacturing department at AnazaoHealth Corporation, Las Vegas. The Operations Specialist supports all aspects of production within the Manufacturing department production planning and scheduling, resource management, process evaluation and improvement, event and the introduction and ongoing maintenance of technology-based department resources. The Operation Specialist interfaces directly with Injectable, Solid Dose and Support management teams as well as Quality, Facilities & Engineering, Procurement, and other departments in the achievement of assigned projects and company production goals.

Manage and participate in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes in conjunction with cross-functional teams to enhance and improve the manufacture of GMP drug products
Support continuous quality and manufacturing improvement processes
Author and revise GMP documents and manufacturing records (e.g. Batch Records, SOPs)
Author and assist in Change Control and Risk Assessment documentation
Lead and/or participate in ongoing technology implementation projects including electronic batch records, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and other initiatives
Participate in project scheduling (including daily, short term, and long term) activities in conjunction with all applicable departments
Monitors scheduling and assists with coordinating resources such as materials, personnel, and equipment to ensure seamless operation of manufacturing activities
Provide input for forecasting of budget requirements and help to manage department expenses
Maintain a positive, professional, and confidential relationship with vendors, contractors and customers, both internal and external
Comply with all state and federal regulatory requirements and guidelines
Ensure security of Protected Health Information as per HIPAA requirements
Any other tasks or duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years related experience and/or training. Experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment related to production, operations, project management, and/or validation preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine and technical reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Able to analyze data and provide statistical analysis. Ability to use a computer for day-to-day work applications.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to draw conclusions from abstract
