Job Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing local dispatch and warehouse operations for Pittsburgh, PA.
Quality & safety compliance to include development/implementation of ongoing training programs and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Recruiting, hiring, training, and managing the operations staff.
Plan upcoming days labor and equipment distribution.
Responsibility for ensuring proper fleet maintenance.
Oversee DOT compliance for all local vehicles.
Candidate will report to G.M & C.E.O
Candidates Must Possess:
Thorough knowledge of the transportation and trucking industry.
Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and requirements.
Experience managing CDL Class A, B, non CDL drivers and local operations personnel.
A quality driven, customer focused mindset.
Operations knowledge of the various industry product lines a plus.
Ability to work professionally with management, support staff and crews with exceptional verbal and written communication.
Strong computer skills include a strong working knowledge with Microsoft Windows and various Microsoft applications.
Valid CDL a plus but not required
