Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of electronic equipment and systems. Your expertise will help ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our technical infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, perform field service tasks, and contribute to the seamless operation of complex electronic systems.
This position will be on call and guarantees a minimum of four (4) hours per week, regardless of actual hours worked. Contractor will also receive a $50 per trip fee for each service visit performed. Contractor agrees to remain reasonable available to perform services during agreed-upon business hours and must respond to all service calls or requests within 24 hours.

Responsibilities
- Perform field service visits to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment across various locations in Riviera Beach, FL .
- Use hand tools and specialized testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate effective repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct routine maintenance on computer hardware, networking equipment, and low voltage systems to prevent failures.
- Repair and replace faulty components in electronic systems while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with service teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and minimize downtime.
- Document all service activities thoroughly, including repairs performed, parts used, and system status updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or electronics technician with hands-on field service experience.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, schematics, and testing devices for troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in computer hardware and networking systems.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and perform equipment repair with precision.
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems and safety protocols related to electrical work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during maintenance or repair tasks.
