DIRECTOR OF NURSING
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and functional supervision of nursing personnel under the direction of the Nursing Home Administrator and Regional Nurse Consultant
- Oversee daily nursing operations while ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations
- Develop, implement, and monitor resident care plans with a rehabilitation focus
- Foster a supportive, safe, and high-quality care environment for residents and staff
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing team members to promote professional growth and maintain high performance standards
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain an excellent survey record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care outcomes
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Missouri RN license (required)
- Previous DON experience required; ADON or additional DON experience strongly preferred
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare A & B regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire staff
- Proven record of regulatory compliance and commitment to Total Quality Management
- Experience with Behavior Management residents preferred
