Join our team as a CDL Bus Driver and become a part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services to the community. In this role, you will operate specialized vehicles designed to assist passengers with mobility challenges, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and children. Your dedication will ensure passengers reach their destinations comfortably and securely while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate paratransit vehicles equipped for wheelchair assistance and passenger transport across designated routes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility devices.
- Follow all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations to ensure passenger and public safety at all times.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to traffic changes, emergency situations, or unexpected route adjustments using defensive driving techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, incidents, and passenger interactions while adhering to writing standards for clear documentation.
Skills
- Proven experience in bus driving, including commercial driving licenses (CDL) with passenger endorsements.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, emergency response procedures for transportation, and transportation safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities.
Pay: $1,005.00 - $1,520.00 per week
