Job Overview
SeedMax is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Seed Sales Representative to build and maintain strong relationships with growers, and agricultural partners. This individual will be responsible for promoting and selling Channel® products, providing agronomic support, and helping customers maximize their profitability through informed seed decisions. The ideal candidate is passionate about agriculture, driven to deliver exceptional customer service, and committed to helping customers grow.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Promote and sell SeedMax offerings including Channel® seed and related products.
- Conduct farm visits to evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate seed solutions.
- Provide product knowledge, agronomic insights, and planting recommendations.
- Assist customers with seed selection, placement, and management strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively grow market share.
- Plan and execute sales calls and customer meetings.
- Collaborate with management and team members to develop sales strategies.
- Represent SeedMax professionally at industry meetings, trade shows, and events.
- Assistance with seed delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in seed sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent agricultural sales experience will also be considered.
- Knowledge of corn and soybean, crop production practices, and agronomic principles.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
