GENERAL SUMMARY
The Field Superintendent is responsible for managing safe, on time, high quality field installations. This requires maintaining quality control, coordinating manpower and logistics, adherence to the project schedule, working closely with Project Management and ensuring that all work is being done in a safe manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of all field activities.
- Representation on jobsite and in interactions with the client.
- Documentation of all field progress and any issues that arise.
- Field Superintendent will be OSHA 30 certified.
- Coordination and scheduling logistics / site deliveries
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Be on site daily to coordinate all aspects of installation.
- Review and understand installation procedures.
- Ensure that quality standards of workmanship are being followed.
- Coordinate with installation staff and assign work to field installation teams as required.
- Develop a site specific safety handbook and monitor site safety.
- Track progress of field installation and assist in implementation of project schedules.
- Work with Project Manager regarding adherence to project schedule.
- Project and track assets to complete required output including materials, labor and other resources.
- Inspect incoming deliveries closely for damage, quantities and quality.
- Attend team meetings as required for specific project as well as company wide meetings..
- Represent Ventana to customers at site subcontractor meetings.
- Monitor the field staff and manage installation goals.
- Document any field issues that arise and communicate immediately with Project Manager.
- Properly report any safety issues that occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Driver's License
- Construction / Glazing Installation experience a plus
- Proficiency in scheduling, Word, Excel and Scheduling Software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
