Position Summary:
Oversee daily front desk operations to ensure a professional guest experience while providing direct administrative support to the General Manager. This is an ideal role for a hospitality professional with 1–2 years of front desk experience who is looking for a stable environment to grow their career long-term.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Manage the full check-in/out cycle, resolve complaints efficiently with a "guest-first" mentality, and serve as a local information resource for Saco and the surrounding areas.
- Operational Oversight: Handle reservations, billing, cash processing, and daily reporting with high accuracy.
- Administrative Support: Assist the General Manager with daily administrative tasks, shift handovers, and maintaining service standards, providing an excellent opportunity to learn hotel operations from the top down.
- Communication: Manage incoming calls and correspondence, communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance, and maintain a collaborative team environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of previous hotel front desk experience is strictly required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (minimum); Hospitality Management degree or coursework is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel management software, such as Cloudbeds PMS, and strong multitasking abilities.
- Soft Skills: High-level problem-solving, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed by the business.
