Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and sales-oriented Tanning Consultant to provide excellent service and help clients choose tanning and wellness options that fit their needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing memberships and products, maintaining a clean salon, and following all equipment and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and create a friendly, professional salon experience.
- Explain tanning services, memberships, packages, upgrades, and retail products.
- Recommend appropriate services based on client goals, skin type, and salon guidelines.
- Operate tanning beds and spray-tan equipment safely after completing training.
- Schedule appointments, process payments .
- Meet individual and team sales goals through helpful, ethical recommendations.
- Clean and sanitize rooms, equipment, common areas, and workstations.
- Open or close the salon and complete assigned daily checklists when scheduled.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Customer service, retail, beauty, spa, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Comfortable recommending products and working toward sales goals.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
