Temporary Hospice CNA – 8-Week Assignment
Locations: Yadkin and Elkin Service Areas
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
Duration: 8 weeks | Start ASAP
Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for a defined, short-term hospice assignment. This role is ideal for a CNA who wants meaningful work with a predictable weekday schedule—without weekends, or a long-term commitment.
Position Highlights

$25/hour (non-benefited)

Monday–Friday only

No weekends. No on-call.

Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile

8-week commitment with clear expectations

Supportive interdisciplinary team and established workflows
What You’ll Do

Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families

Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse

Follow individualized care plans and hospice protocols

Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
What We’re Looking For

Active CNA certification

Hospice or home health experience preferred
