Pigg Towing and Melton's Wrecker Service is looking to add a tow truck driver in Wichita Falls. We are looking for responsible motivated individuals to join our team. Towing cars is a hard work, fast-paced and never boring industry. If this sounds like something you would be interested in do not hesitate to apply! Must have a clean driving record, and pass a background and drug test. Experience is a plus, but if someone is the right fit we will train you. We pay a base weekly salary plus bonus for calls after 6pm and quarterly bonuses for total calls run.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles from various locations.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and managing any conflicts that may arise during service calls.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to respond promptly to towing requests and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tow trucks. .
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
