Basking Ridge Country Club is seeking an experienced and personable Seasonal Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This position plays an important role in delivering an exceptional experience to members and guests by providing professional, attentive bar service in a welcoming club environment.
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring members and guests receive friendly and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club recipes and standards
- Provide friendly, professional service to members and guests at the bar and in dining areas when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including stocking supplies and glassware
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately
- Monitor guest consumption and follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory and restocking
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season
Compensation
$10.00 per hour plus tips
Pay: $10.00 per hour
