Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with employment litigation matters from client intake through resolution
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, administrative agencies, and other parties
- Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, chronologies, and other legal documents
- Assist with filings before federal and state courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and other agencies
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
- Collect, review, organize, and summarize documents and evidence
- Assist with document production and discovery management
- Coordinate attorney calendars, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and court deadlines
- Track statutes of limitations, filing deadlines, and case-related tasks
- Conduct factual and procedural research
- Prepare materials for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case updates and outstanding documents
- Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of paralegal or comparable law firm experience
- Employment law or civil litigation experience preferred
- Strong writing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic case-management systems
- Familiarity with federal and New York court filing procedures is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred, but not required based on relevant experience
Compensation and Benefits

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Full-time, in-person position in White Plains, New York
- 9AM - 5 PM
- One work from home day per week
