8 ounce Korean Steak House is looking for friendly, reliable, enthusiastic and energetic Servers to join our team! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing great customer service, we’d love to meet you.
As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system or similar software.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring that all food handling and safety standards are met.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to requests for assistance or additional items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a server role is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours such as nightclub settings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
