Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and supervise electrical construction projects on-site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee project execution, ensure safety compliance, and manage teams effectively while working on diverse commercial electrical installations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide installation processes
- Oversee daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control measures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Manage project documentation using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management with a strong background in electrical systems installation
- Supervising experience on large-scale projects within the construction industry
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical work
- Knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling using or similar software
- Familiarity with contracts management and quality control procedures
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical circuits
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and construction site safety protocols
- Skilled in using construction management software including ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and communication
- Hands-on experience with pipeline installation and heavy civil projects is a plus
- Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment
