General Job Description
The Data Specialist is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and governance of Lentus' master business data across internal systems and customer-facing platforms. This role owns the implementation and maintenance of product information, pricing data, customer item data, technical documentation, and other business-critical data while ensuring consistency across NetSuite, Catsy (PIM), customer portals, and other enterprise systems.The Data Specialist works cross-functionally with Brand Management, Marketing, Sales Support, Purchasing, Operations, Customer Support, and Business Systems to ensure business data is accurate, complete, and consistently maintained throughout its lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Master Data Management: Serve as the owner of Lentus' master business data by administering the Product Information Management (PIM) system (Catsy) and maintaining accurate product, pricing, and customer item records across NetSuite, SharePoint, customer portals, distributor platforms, and other business systems. Maintain product attributes including specifications, dimensions, weights, UPCs, packaging, certifications, pricing attributes, regulatory information, technical specifications, and other master business data.
- Pricing Implementation: Implement approved pricing updates across NetSuite, customer pricing files, distributor portals, and customer systems. Verify pricing accuracy, maintain pricing records, and ensure pricing changes are implemented consistently across all business systems.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Coordinate operational activities throughout the product lifecycle, including new product setup, product revisions, packaging changes, discontinued products, replacement products, and customer item setup. Ensure all internal systems and customer-facing platforms are updated accurately and on time.
- Product Documentation Management: Coordinate with Brand Managers to obtain approved product documentation from vendors. Maintain SDSs, TDSs, installation instructions, certifications, product images, and other technical documentation across all internal systems and customer platforms. Communicate documentation updates to the appropriate internal teams for review and implementation.
- Customer Data Management: Coordinate customer product onboarding and maintain customer-specific product information, templates, spreadsheets, portals, and item setup while ensuring consistency with Lentus' master product records.
- Data Governance: Establish and maintain standards for product information accuracy, documentation, version control, and data consistency across all internal systems and customer-facing platforms. Perform routine audits, resolve discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Data Requests: Serve as the primary resource for product information requests from Sales, Marketing, Customer Sales Support, Operations, Purchasing, and customers by providing accurate product data, documentation, and supporting information.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Brand Managers, Marketing, Sales Support, Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure accurate product information is available throughout the organization and support successful product launches and product changes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to master data management processes, workflows, automation, and data governance standards to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports, monitor business data quality, identify trends and discrepancies, support root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in product information management, ERP/PIM systems, or master data management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with NetSuite, Catsy (PIM), and customer portals preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
