American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting

Night shift, 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week

Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Epic EMR used for charting

Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)

Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required

Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to start

ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred

Epic EMR experience required

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients

Responsibilities include health teaching, counseling, patient referrals, treatment plan monitoring, and documentation per hospital and regulatory guidelines

Experienced caregivers are strongly preferred

Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
