Job Overview
American Moving, a Bekins Van Lines agent is looking for the right experienced household-goods driver for a premium big-bunk sleeper opportunity.
This is **not a temporary situationship** and I am not looking for somebody just to fill a seat. I am looking for a professional driver who wants to run hard, provide excellent service, take care of the equipment, and potentially own the truck.
### Year 1
Target earnings are approximately **$90K–$115K+**, depending on production and performance.
We have our own long-distance bookings, pack-and-hauls, established customers, and confirmed van-line tonnage available. The opportunity is there for somebody who knows how to run HHG correctly.
### Path to Ownership
The plan is straightforward:
Drive with us for approximately one year, meet a reasonable production minimum, maintain excellent service and ratings, take care of the truck and customers, and prove that we are a good fit for each other.
If that works, **we will work with you on financing the truck and transitioning you toward ownership.**
A successful owner-operator should have the opportunity to earn roughly **$130K–$170K+**, with additional upside for an exceptional operator who builds strong agent relationships, keeps the truck productive, and controls expenses.
This will be a **premium sleeper truck built for somebody who actually lives and works on the road** — not another basic fleet tractor.
I am specifically interested in somebody with real household-goods experience who understands customers, crews, claims prevention, paperwork, equipment, and what it takes to earn a strong reputation with agents.
