Duties
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup to keep projects progressing efficiently
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other trades by handing tools and materials
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely under supervision to complete tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete finishing
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements and assist accordingly
- Help with the installation of doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and other fixtures as directed
- Perform basic construction inspection tasks to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Support heavy equipment operation and site safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques such as framing, roofing, or masonry
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for various trades including carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and concrete work
- Familiarity with using construction management software like Bluebeam is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality assurance
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred for site access
