Formulator sought by manufacturer of nutritional supplements in Farmingdale, NY. Plan, implement, and manage tests and research activities related to formulation of supplements. Interpret test results, assess data, draw conclusions, and prepare reports. Evaluate raw material for pre-formulation assessment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Act as liaison between R&D, Production, and Quality (QA & QC). Analyze and resolve identified deficiencies. and monitor troubleshooting of identified products.
Requires:
- Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics or closely related field plus 1 year of experience as a Jr. Formulator.
- Requires 1 year of experience performing pre-formulation assessment and developing formulations using Fette Compacting, Kikusui, Manesty & Stokes, Vanguard compression equipment, Bosch, Vanguard, Zanasi, NPJ encapsulation equipment.
- Also requires 1 year of experience ensuring compliance with 21 CFR Part 111 Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) requirements.
