RESPONSIBILITIES
Wash and sanitize all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout service- Handle with care our handmade ceramic plates and hand-blown stemware objects commissioned specifically for Perlee
- Polish stemware and silverware to an exacting standard before each service
- Iron and fold guest towels with precision and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish station, prep areas, and kitchen floors
- Support cooks with basic prep tasks and assist the kitchen team as directed
- Manage waste and recycling efficiently and sustainably
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Uphold Perlee's standards of hygiene and sanitation at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
Reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in their work- Able to move quickly and stay organized under pressure
- A careful, attentive approach our equipment is handcrafted and irreplaceable
- A team player who is curious about the kitchen and eager to be involved
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience a plus not required
- Must hold or be able to obtain an Oregon Food Handler Certificate
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work Wednesday through Sunday
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$17/hr + tips estimated total compensation $30+/hr- Health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) available to full-time employees; coverage begins after 90 days of employment
- Up to 5 days PTO; 40 hours health & wellness leave available to full-time employees; begins accruing after 90 days of employment
