You will see Green and White trash trucks. Go to the little trailer. It says office on the door. You will see the name GUNTHER REFUSE SERVICES on the door of the trucks.

Come Join Gunther Refuse Serivces as a Trash Truck Helper/Thrower! In this energetic role, you'll be an essential part of the garbage collection process, assisting the driver by safely loading and unloading trash bins, ensuring efficient route completion, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Your active participation helps keep communities clean and environmentally responsible. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, stay physically active, and develop valuable skills in commercial vehicle operation and waste collection.
As a rear-load trash truck helper, you will be one of the two people on the back of a trash truck that rides along a predetermined route through a residential neighborhood. A trash truck helper is tasked with collecting trash, recycling, or yard waste from the curb and putting it in the back of the trash truck.
Required Qualities-
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
Job Requirements-
- Safety/reflective vest required.
- Fluids must be provided to drink during the route.
- Close-toed, protective footwear required.
- Must be able to provide two forms of ID to start (License, Social Security card, birth certificate, work authorization, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: A daily rate of 110.00 with increase after 30 days of no absents.
