We are currently seeking a part-time caregiver
for a client in Montgomery Village who experiences
seizures and has epilepsy. Experience caring for clients with seizure disorders is required. This position primarily involves companion care, including accompanying the client to the grocery store, appointments, and other errands. The schedule is
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Applicants must have a
valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and assisting with shredding
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Watching for signs of an epileptic seizure
