Job Description
- Support plaintiff personal injury cases through the settlement process.
- Organize and maintain case files, medical records, bills, liens, and settlement documentation.
- Assist attorneys with settlement preparation, demands, negotiations, and case resolution.
- Review and organize medical documentation and damages information.
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, lienholders, and other parties.
- Track case milestones, deadlines, settlement documentation, and outstanding requirements.
- Assist with gathering and preparing information needed to evaluate settlement value.
- Coordinate documentation necessary to finalize settlements and disbursements.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure files remain organized and up to date.
- Provide reliable administrative and substantive support to attorneys throughout the settlement lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of personal injury law experience.
- Plaintiff personal injury experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with personal injury settlements, medical records, demands, liens, or insurance claims is highly valuable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
