Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Freight Forwarding Warehouse Associate, where you will play a vital role in managing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods within our freight forwarding operations. Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments by accurately loading, unloading, and verifying cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure data entry precision
- Prepare goods for shipment by picking, packing, labeling, and organizing orders according to customer specifications and trade compliance standards
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels using inventory management tools
- Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating order fulfillment, stocking shelves, and managing order picking & packing processes
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and shipping logistics requirements for export/import documentation and customs procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to warehouse safety protocols, operating equipment properly (including forklifts), and conducting routine inspections
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or freight forwarding environments with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or ERP systems), inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Skilled in using warehouse equipment including forklift certification, RF scanners, pallet jacks, order pickers, and load & unload machinery
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills and a focus on accuracy in record keeping
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and shipping logistics is highly desirable
- Effective communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset to support internal teams and external clients

Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
