Our full-service school law firm client located in the western suburbs is seeking an associate with 3-5+ years of experience to join its collaborative and thriving Special Education group. This associate should have experience in special education law, school law, and/or related litigation matters. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain significant hands-on experience in all aspects of special education law, including assisting districts with preparing legally-compliant IEPs and Section 504 Plans, and assisting clients in special education discipline matters, mediations and due process hearings, and other complaints. Additionally, the firm’s special education team regularly provides training to schools on all aspects of special education practices, procedures and law. The base salary range is $120k-$150k and the target billables are only 1,800.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
