Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estate Planning Attorney to join our legal team with 5+ years of estate planning experience. Responsibilities
- Draft comprehensive estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives
- Provide expert legal counsel on estate tax strategies, probate procedures, and trust administration
- Conduct thorough legal research on estate laws, statutory regulations, and relevant case law using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw
- Negotiate terms with clients and third parties to ensure estate plans align with their goals and legal requirements
- Prepare for and participate in court depositions related to estate matters or contested wills
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information, explain complex legal concepts clearly, and ensure their understanding of all options
- Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software while maintaining meticulous documentation of all client interactions and legal processes
Experience
- Proven experience in estate planning law with a strong understanding of procedural law knowledge and statutory legal research
- Demonstrated ability to draft contracts, wills, trusts, and other legal documents with precision and clarity
- Experience in litigation or trial preparation related to estate disputes or probate issues is preferred
- Familiarity with a broad range of legal areas including family law, securities law, employment law cases, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, environmental law, immigration law, general & commercial litigation, employment law case experience, and personal injury case experience is highly desirable
- Skilled in legal negotiation and advocacy to effectively represent clients’ interests in complex situations
- Strong research skills using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for statutory interpretation and case analysis
- Prior experience working in a law office environment with responsibilities encompassing legal writing, motion preparation, court depositions, and client communication

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
