American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Cath/EP Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract at a hospital and trauma center in Janesville, WI, with experience in Cath Lab, EP, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure procedures required.

Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology setting within a hospital and trauma center

Procedures include cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure

Day shifts, Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM

One to two weeknights of call per week, with call every fourth weekend

13-week contract
-
Graduate of an accredited radiology program (education verification required)

ARRT and ARRT(R) certifications required
-
Cardiovascular Technologist registration required

Current BLS and ACLS required
-
Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License required (license required if applicable)

All licenses and certifications must be currently active

Responsibilities include verifying sterile supply integrity, preparing patients and equipment using sterile technique, and managing post-procedure sterilization of equipment and supplies

Monitors, records, and maintains all procedural data and event logs

Applies patient monitors, prepares access sites, and places necessary sterile drapes prior to procedures

Advocates for radiation safety by wearing a personal dosimeter and taking precautions to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff

Documents fluoroscopy time and radiation doses, and evaluates reports against established safety limits
