Job Description:
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with deep-cleaning all areas of the theater, including, but not limited to, auditoriums, bathrooms, hallways, and lobby. The candidate should be energetic, punctual, trustworthy, detail-oriented, thorough and adaptable. This is an early morning position – hours between 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The building must be completely clean before our business day starts. This job is physically demanding.
Job Requirements (Not all-encompassing):
- Prior maintenance / janitorial cleaning experience is required. (Experience with high-traffic or high-volume businesses a plus).
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand / walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to crawl on the ground and fit under luxury chairs to clean.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and major holidays. (We are open everyday of the year!)
- Have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work alone to get everything done in a timely manner.
- Ability to vacuum, mop, and deck scrub.
- Legal working age, 3 references, photo ID, Social Security Card / Birth Certificate.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with general cleaning products and procedures.
- Capability of cleaning designated areas thoroughly and within an allotted time frame.
To Apply:
- This is a part-time position. One to two shifts a week.
Daily:
10 Theaters will need detailed cleaned, mopped, vacuumed and shop vacuuming in seats. Crawling, bending, leaning as needed. This is very physically demanding the entire shift. Vacuum wall carpets, clean under screens. Wipe down all seats with soap and water. Mop floors.
2 sets of bathrooms cleaned and mopped. Detail clean tiles and polish metal.
Hallways and lobby swept and mopped. Benches and vents dusted. Shampoo carpet.
Additional weekly tasks to be fit in to shifts.
