American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU/PICU/CVICU position requiring an active Ohio RRT license and a minimum of two years of pediatric critical care experience.

Work within the RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU units caring for pediatric patients
-
Provides high-level (Level 4) NICU care
-
May float to Shaker Children's Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU
-
Day shift schedule with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
-
8 or 12 week contract length
-
Active Ohio RRT license required in hand at time of consideration

NBRC certification required
-
BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience required
-
PEDS, PICU, and NICU (Level 4) experience required

Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from assignments worked in the past 12 months

Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually

License required if applicable

Facility is a smoke-free and nicotine-free environment with no exceptions

Candidates must complete two fingerprinting processes, one required onsite prior to start and one through the agency

BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
-
All work history, including any prior Cleveland Clinic positions, must be included in candidate profile
-
Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date

Candidates may extend assignments for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is typically required

Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, and license hits are not accepted

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
