Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping / Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing shipping documentation, supporting inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, including expedited and international shipments.
- Process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), invoices, and international shipping paperwork.
- Collaborate with sales, production planning, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time shipment readiness.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Match incoming shipments to purchase orders and enter receiving data into SAP.
- Monitor Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASNs), troubleshoot issues, and follow up on shipment discrepancies.
- Process and manage UPS, FedEx, and other carrier shipments.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory verification activities.
- Create shipping labels and placards while ensuring shipment accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain communication between shipping, production, quality, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
- Handle receiving and purchase order discrepancies and work with purchasing to resolve issues.
- Promote workplace safety and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes.
- Experience working with ASN management and transportation coordination.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to visually inspect materials and safely operate equipment.
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment where noise levels may be high and employees may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, dust, fumes, or airborne particles.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
