Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Male Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care and support to a client in a home care setting. The ideal candidate will be professional, patient-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional care while maintaining the client's dignity and independence.
Preferred Candidate:
Due to the client's personal care needs and preferences, a male caregiver is preferred for this assignment.
Schedule:
- Thursday - Sunday
- 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- 12-hour shifts
- Consistent weekly schedule
Role Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe changes in health status to report to healthcare professionals promptly
- Support medication management by administering prescribed medications following HIPAA guidelines and care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to ensure safe patient transfers and prevent injury
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry
- Document patient progress, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Assist clients with morning routines and evening bedtime care to ensure comfort and safety throughout the day
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing home settings or group homes is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are advantageous
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or autism spectrum disorder is desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude towards clients’ needs
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work split shifts, including mornings, evenings, or weekends as required

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
