About the Opportunity:
We’re seeking dedicated, skilled, and adaptable Dental Oral Surgery Technicians who take pride in providing exceptional care and technical support. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside experienced dental professionals in both clinical and field settings, providing essential chairside and surgical assistance.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist dentists and oral surgeons in preparing and performing oral surgery and general dental procedures.

Prepare and maintain surgical trays, instruments, and materials following strict sterilization and infection control protocols.

Anticipate provider needs during surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field at all times.

Take, process, and mount dental radiographs (intraoral and panoramic).

Provide preoperative and postoperative patient education and support.
-
Maintain accurate and secure clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and federal standards.

Manage dental supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring operational readiness.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot dental and surgical equipment per federal safety and manufacturer guidelines.

Support administrative and clinical activities as assigned by supervising dental personnel
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant or Dental Technology program. (CDA or OMSAA, preferred).

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Oral Surgery Technician.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
-
State radiology certification.
-
Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques.

Experience assisting in oral and maxillofacial procedures.

U.S. Citizenship (required for federal contract eligibility).

Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
Working Conditions:

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per day).

Frequent bending, reaching, and manual dexterity required for assisting during procedures.

Ability to lift, carry, and move dental equipment or supply boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination necessary for performing dental assisting tasks safely and accurately.
