We’re looking for a motivated, reliable, and hands-on General Manager to lead our team at Wildberry Smoothie Co.! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing a strong team, and takes pride in creating an exceptional customer experience.
As General Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of Wildberry, lead and develop our team, maintain high standards throughout the shop, and help drive continued growth. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates well, solves problems proactively, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
● Lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable to Wildberry standards
● Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth, efficient shifts
● Hire, train, schedule, and develop team members
● Maintain a positive, professional, and high-energy team culture
● Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns when needed
● Monitor labor and scheduling based on business needs
● Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and product availability
● Monitor waste and help maintain appropriate food and labor costs
● Ensure smoothies, coffee, food items, and other products are consistently prepared according to Wildberry recipes and standards
● Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, food safety, and sanitation
● Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily operational tasks
● Identify operational issues and take initiative to solve them
● Communicate effectively with ownership regarding staffing, inventory, maintenance, sales, and other store needs
● Help execute promotions, events, new products, and other initiatives
● Lead by example and be willing to work alongside the team during busy periods
Qualifications
● Previous management or leadership experience preferred
● Food service, café, restaurant, or hospitality experience strongly preferred
● Strong leadership and communication skills
● Dependable, organized, and able to hold yourself and others accountable
● Comfortable giving feedback, coaching employees, and addressing performance concerns
● Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
● Positive, solutions-focused attitude
● Ability to work independently and take ownership of store performance
● Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties required in a café environment
