Join our dynamic team as a Cashier, Stocker, and Food Prep Associate! Duties
- Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and process transactions accurately at the cash register using retail math and cashiering techniques
- Manage inventory control through regular stock checks, utilizing RF scanners and warehouse experience to track stock levels and replenish shelves efficiently
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport products within the store or warehouse area
- Prepare fresh food items by following proper food safety standards, packaging products neatly for sale or shipment, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas
- Conduct shipping & receiving duties by verifying deliveries, organizing stock with organizational skills, and ensuring proper storage of produce and other perishable goods
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store environment through routine cleaning, merchandising displays, and ensuring all areas meet health standards
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product locations, offering product recommendations, and supporting retail sales efforts
Experience
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is highly preferred to understand customer needs and sales techniques
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts), and shipping & receiving procedures is a plus
- Experience in food prep or handling produce will enhance your ability to maintain quality standards in food items
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities) are advantageous for serving diverse customers effectively
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while managing heavy lifting tasks safely
- Knowledge of retail math principles to accurately handle transactions and inventory counts is beneficial
- A proactive attitude toward maintenance duties such as cleaning, stocking, packaging, and merchandising will contribute to overall store success
