Cami-Axle Construction Corp. is a concrete shell and masonry subcontractor serving South Florida. We are hiring an Accounts Payable & Office Administrator for our Miami office. This is an in-person role.
THE ROLE TODAY
The position owns four areas end to end:
- Accounts payable. Vendor invoice processing in QuickBooks, monthly credit card and vendor statement reconciliation, receipt matching, expense allocation to projects, vendor payment processing.
- Lien compliance. Vendor release cycle, Notice to Owner processing, subcontractor compliance documentation including certificates of insurance, tracking board maintenance.
- Project support. Contract and Payment Compliance portal updates for public projects, weekly invoice approval reporting to project managers, notarization of pay applications.
- Office administration. Mail, phones, inventory and ordering, document and job folder organization.
WHERE THE ROLE GROWS
This position has a defined progression into a Construction Accountant role.
As it is established, scope expands to accounts receivable and pay application preparation, payroll preparation including certified payroll reporting, and job cost coding — advancing toward job cost accounting, project budgets, progress billing, AIA pay applications, and change orders.
Administrative duties remain part of the position at every level.
