We are looking for a motivated, skilled Residential Home Repair & Handyman Technician to join our growing team in Georgia. This fast-paced role lets you handle a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks in residential homes. As a key member of the team, you’ll apply your mechanical aptitude, technical abilities, and customer service skills to keep properties safe, functional, and in great condition. Duties
Perform a broad range of residential repairs, including plumbing maintenance, electrical equipment repair, HVAC troubleshooting and repair, and general mechanical fixes.
Read and use schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and carry out efficient repairs.
Complete residential painting, carpentry, drywall repairs, and other finishing work to enhance the appearance of homes.
Inspect and maintain building systems—plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment—and perform preventive maintenance as required.
Use ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues and interpret schematics for more complex systems.
Support or oversee projects involving welding, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or other specialized technical tasks when needed.
Follow all safety regulations, building codes, and client requirements while delivering excellent customer service on every job.
Experience
Demonstrated experience in residential or facilities maintenance with a strong focus on repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Solid mechanical background paired with electrical experience; familiarity with electrical equipment repair and HVAC systems is required.
Practical experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of schematics, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), and standard safety practices.
Prior supervising or leadership responsibilities on maintenance projects or within team environments is a plus.
Ability to read technical schematics and confidently use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Strong English communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to both clients and coworkers.
