Pastry Cook
Kent Country Club | Grand Rapids, MI
Do you love the art and precision of baking? Do you take pride in creating beautiful pastries, breads, and desserts that leave a lasting impression on the people who enjoy them?
Kent Country Club is looking for a Pastry Cook to join our culinary team, working directly under our new Executive Chef, Jason Tilmann. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with pastry or bakery experience who is ready to grow their craft in a fully-equipped bake shop with plenty of room to create.
At Kent, dessert is often the last thing a member remembers about their meal—and this role plays a key part in making that memory a great one.

As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing pastries, breads, desserts, and specialty baked items for our members and guests according to the Club's standard recipes. This position begins at 16–24 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role by taking on additional kitchen responsibilities. You'll work closely with Executive Chef Jason Tilmann, with the freedom to bring your own ideas and work independently as you grow.
