Job Summary
Needed Experienced Home caregiver for Afterschool Care Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm, Thursday 1pm-6pm for Children with Disabilities, maybe Autistic or be hyperactive.
Location: North Hollywood CA
Experience working with individuals with development and physical disabilities in the afterschool program to monitor for safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Care of client with physical disabilities and fall risk. Safety is important. Patient with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and sometimes with disruptive behavior
- Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient status, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Support individuals with disabilities by promoting independence and dignity in the care provided. Monitor behavior, lacking safety awareness, non-verbal seizures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with Administrator to deliver optimal client care and report any changes in condition to Administrator.
- Client is ambulatory.
- Meeting safety need of client properly with equipment use such as wheelchair during shift and never leaving client unattended.
- Planning and preparing simple meals
- Assisting client with dressing and undressing
Qualification
- Meets all Careone Agency training requirement for the position
- Processes and maintain current CPR, TB, Background clearance, Live Scan Fingerprinting clearance and must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Demonstrates kindness, patience and good personal hygiene
