Restaurant/Bar Manager
Champs Bar & Grill – Coopersville, MI
Champs Bar & Grill is seeking an energetic, hands-on, and detail-oriented Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead our dining and beverage operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant activities, supporting staff development, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining smooth front- and back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure efficient service and exceptional guest experiences
- Lead, coach, and support front- and back-of-house staff
- Manage scheduling, labor control, shift operations, and team accountability
- Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and professionalism
- Oversee inventory control, ordering, food cost management, and waste reduction
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, liquor laws, and company policies
- Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for order management, reporting, and cash handling
- Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing staff training and development
- Handle guest concerns professionally and help create a positive dining atmosphere
- Coordinate kitchen and bar operations to maintain service flow during peak business hours
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant and/or bar management experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience managing staff in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food safety, inventory management, and restaurant operations
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast, preferred
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Weekend and evening availability required
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Culinary or bar management experience is a plus

Pay: $31,200.00 - $45,000.00 per year
