Summary
We are seeking a driven Meat and Seafood Sales Representative with at least 2 years proven experience in meat and or seafood sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aggressively pursuing new business opportunities within Northen New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities within the territory
- Present and promote meat and seafood products to clients highlighting quality, sourcing and value
- Work closely with the operations and logistics teas to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain up to date records of client interactions and sales activity
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle any issues with professionalism and urgency
- Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in meat and or seafood sales
- Strong knowledge of meat and seafood products including cuts, grading, sourcing and seasonal availability
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals in a competitive sales environment
- Self - motivated with a strong work ethic and results driven mindset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Compensation
- Base Salary: $75,000-$100,000 based on experience
- Commission structure for additional earning potential
